Stopped by Krispy Kreme and it was good overall, just nothing too exciting. I ordered an iced vanilla coffee with a cinnamon roll donut. Both were decent and hit the spot, but nothing really stood out.
I love their glazed and lemon donuts, as well as bavarian cream. My kids like the maple and chocolate. Those are the best flavors, so I hope they will bring back the lemon and maple, they have seriously limited our choices lately! Maybe that is a good thing! I wish they would make more pudding filled donuts and less kreme filled. Their kreme is gross, but they use that for the base of most of their seasonal donuts.
I've always said screw local businesses. Cross E Ranch wanted us to pay $20 to get in the door to even so much as smell their donuts, so we redirected 20 mins south west to a company that truly values its customers. Greeted in from the rain with a smile and a gorgeous selection of seasonal donuts, Krispy Kreme I could never quit you.
