“Was my first time coming here. I came here with four other people. The food was amazing. The customer service I received or saw did not make me feel super welcomed, they forgot our order of garlic bread. The soda machine was out of syrup I let them know and they were quick to fix it. But everyone has off days I’m human I know I do. I would still say go try the food. I had the Japanese pan fried noodles with shrimp with a side of Wisconsin Mac n cheese. I will be coming back for more.“

“We’re big fans of Basta. We’ve been there several times and often recommend it to our friends. The food is always delicious and full of flavor.

The last time we visited, we found a hair in one of our dishes. I understand that these things can happen and that it’s not a huge deal. However, when we mentioned it to the waitress, she simply took the plate away and offered to make us another one. When she brought the replacement, she put it on the table and walked away without saying a word, as if we were somehow at fault for finding a hair in our food.

As I mentioned, I understand that accidents can happen to anyone, but a simple apology for the unpleasant experience would have been appreciated. Customers shouldn’t be made to feel uncomfortable for politely bringing an issue like this to the staff’s attention.“

“Maddy is an excellent worker, outstanding customer service, she has amazing multitasking skills, and deserves the best. I have hearing aids and a learning disability so I’m able to notice someone’s hard work and my surroundings right away.

I was there for 10 mins and noticed how well she handles the register, making the two meals, and making sure the customers were taken care of in the lobby. She was the only person working and handling everything on her own.

I want her to be recognized for her outstanding work by mangers“
