We ordered from doordash last night. I had been wanting to try Foresta for a long time but funds are tight so hadn't had the pleasure. We had some doordash credits and I decided tonight is the night let's give it a go! This review comes after our second time eating here. The first time I got the rose tteok bokki and it was incredible, but for 2 people being the only ones in the restaurant most of the night, it took almost 45 minutes to get any food. We ended up being there 2 hours total with no drinks or dessert. Thought it was a fluke and we enjoyed the food so much we thought we'd wait a bit and come back. Second time was even longer, almost 3 hours. They were a little busier this time...
We tried this restaurant after a long drive from the south for my father's funeral. The food was delicious. We came on a night that the restaurant was short staffed. Our food took over an hour to come out. I appreciated that the manager gave us a discount for the wait, customer service like that is rare these days. We enjoyed the pork belly buns, mushroom Ramen and Shanghai noodles.
