Gilou’s Cafe is a gem, hidden in plain sight! Easy access, plenty of parking, Main Street location, Welcoming service, but most importantly Tasty sandwiches and other food! Ghislane is the best, and Jerome is awesome!
An old friend and I planned to meet here as a halfway point to meet up at before he moves to Hawaii. I drove in from the DC area with my wife and he drove up from Greenville, SC. When we got there the owner told us that he was closing up shop as he was getting ready to start his Thanksgiving break, but decided to let us stay and eat since we'd come in from so far.

I came to the restaurant because of the restaurant. I was going to was packed. I wanted to try something different. And I am so glad I did right. The biscuits and gravy, we're the best I've had, and I have been to 43 different states and they were absolutely delicious., i will absolutely be back
