Drove from Richlands Virginia to Abington Virginia approximately 54 miles one way and stopped at Home Slice Cafe for lunch. What a great place. Warm unique atmosphere, very clean and friendly staff. The prices are reasonable and the amount of food is abundant. My Bacon cheeseburger was huge. My favorite was the homemade chili. It was so good I ordered two orders to take home for dinner. I highly recommend this resturant and will definitely be returning.

Happened to come by Home Slice while on a bike trip around Appalachia. Reviews were high and very well deserved. Got in about 11 on a Saturday morning and was able to get right to a table by chance really. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Food was great and came out in no time. All 3 in my party spoke highly of the food and atmosphere. Definitely worth the stop.

We just stopped here for lunch on our way back home to Alabama and it was too charming to not leave a review! Truly some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered! The Sheriffs dining there were so kind and chatty and it was obvious that everybody knows everybody. The burgers were so delicious and fresh off the grill! We absolutely loved everything about our experience!!! It made me want to move to Abingdon! 🩵🩵🩵
