Took a friend here last weekend for breakfast. The waitress was very friendly. The food was good. Almost 30.00 for two people and nothing over the top. Don't get me wrong it was good but not 30.00 good

This was quite literally the best breakfast I've had eating out. Ever. I got the kitchen sink omelet without mushrooms, easily the best omelet I've ever had. The biscuit was super fresh and fluffly, the gravy was great, and the fried potatoes were the best I've had to. My only complaint was that my stomach wasn't able to fit it all😂 Also the waitress was super nice and quick despite how busy it was with her being the only one on the floor & at the register! If I ever find myself near here again, I will definitely being coming back.

I have drove past this place many times and the Parking lot is always full. I stopped by there yesterday and Boy am I glad I did. Amazing Atmosphere and the food smelled delicious. I got a Homemade Biscuit with 2 sausage patties for under $4, Best One I have had for a long time, I will be back.

Home slice is a little gem of nostalgia, great service, and good food! Tucked beside a church along route 19 in Abingdon, this place has it all- great down-home country food, a quirky 1950s diner vibe, and amazing people! Make sure you come hungry, because the food is amazing, and they are very generous with your portions. My wife and I are big eaters, and we could barely get through our shared country breakfast plate because it was huge! Best of all, the waitstaff made us feel like family!
