Delicious home cooking!! Daily specials along with their regular menu items. It has an old time diner atmosphere.
We went around around lunchtime, and the parking lot was full. Surprisingly, we didn't wait long at all for our food.
It was a bit of a drive for us, but it was well worth it. We will definitely be going back!

Home Slice Cafe was like taking a nostalgic step back in time. The staff was kind and welcoming. It seemed that all the patrons knew each other, and there was a quiet hum of conversation, without being loud. The menu was bigger than I thought it would be and it took a while to make a decision. I ended up getting a big bowl of pinto beans and bacon, well seasoned potato cubes, plenty of onion, a slice of ham, cornbread and butter and coleslaw. I was quite full without being overstuffed from the meal. I will definitely go back!

Home made goodness. What a joy not only to eat but the staff is remarkable. Can't wait to come back.
Great food. Good ole country spot for the locals and pass byers. I definitely will stop it again if I'm out that way. I had the BLT with cheese it was good but I couldn't finish all my potatoes but not complaining.

We were on a “wingin’ it” road trip from North Carolina to Indiana and we chose this fabulous little gem because of the name!! The breakfast was delicious and the perfect start to our 2nd day of traveling. Our server was so kind and we loved her story! If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely stop back in!!

We found this charming hole-in-the-wall during race weekend, and it was pure nostalgia! The walls are adorned with NASCAR legends, vintage license plates, and tin signs. Prices are unbeatable for the quality of food and service. They even had an old wood clock featuring Richard Petty, just like my Mema’s. My husband enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, while I savored the delicious French toast with bacon and eggs. Highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
