Home Slice Cafe is a hidden jewel not far off of the highway. We stopped by on our drive south down I-81. I had the Monster Biscuit and a side of onion rings for lunch and my wife got the daily special- pinto beans, cornbread and fried potatoes. Food was great and the price was right.
Very friendly and inviting atmosphere, cosy country feel to a mom and pop diner. Food is very good, menu choices are very good and the prices are very reasonable. There's something here for everyone, service is very good.
Homeslice Cafe in Abingdon saved the day! We had first tried a local chain and had such a horrible service experience that we left without even getting to place our food order. Thankfully, we ended up at Homeslice, where the experience was wonderful from start to finish.
