The folks at this McDonald's were unusually friendly and helpful today. It's almost as if they were trained at Chick-Fil-A.
Update 12/21/2024: This McDonald's has eliminated the dining area drink fountain. Now if you want a refill you'll have to get the attention of the folks in the kitchen. I know McDonald's is doing this at all locations, but as long as I can find one that still has fountains in the dining area I'll eat there.

Honestly the worst food I had on a road trip IL > VT …..How can you mess up McDonald’s food? I’m an eat anything type of person and it was horrible for the whole family. One bite of a burger and it was in the trash. McRib isn’t even a “real” McDonald’s style rib and first they put no sauce on it when I ordered sauce only. Secondly it’s a weird thick bbq sauce and not a McRib sauce. I didn’t even feed the McNuggets to my dog. Avoid at all costs.

McDonald’s never disappoints, especially this location. I always order extra sauce and salt, and they never forget! Fries are always fresh and salty. Love how they seal their orders when ordering from DoorDash. It’s impossible for the deliverer to mess with the food without it being obvious. Love the iced coffees! And I always order the Big Mac combination. Yummy!

Took forever to get a cup of coffee. McDonald's has always been about kids this new look has nothing to do with kids . It's dead looking dark paint shouldn't be in a place that use to be a happy place. You took the kids out, so take down the clown.

Parking: Same as every other McDonald's except I would t recommend big trucks or those hauling a trailer greater than 10ft unless you park across the street.
Kid-friendliness: Have some cool looking chairs but thats really not for kids but my adhd liked them while staring at a TV that they wouldn't cut on.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, they have handicap parking, entrance, and seating accommodations.

We stopped by on Sunday in the early afternoon. Order via the app, our food was out very fast despite plenty of cars in the drive through. Everything was fresh and really delicious. I was afraid having had bad experience at a different McDonald’s recently but we were really pleasantly surprised. Great job.

Ordered a hot Carmel mocha ... I got a cup of coffee with cool whip on top.
I was traveling through Virginia and stopped at the McDonalds in Abbingdon for lunch. My food was ready quickly after ordering on the kiosks. Different buns for the fish sandwich would earn a 5 star rating
