My husband and I are an over the road truck driving team. We are in Abingdon, as we are this time every week, and we wanted some pizza. I found Milano’s through DoorDash and started going through the menu. As we are both true Italians, we are very picky with Italian food. We chose to get some Milano’s because they actually offered ricotta with their Stromboli’s and calzones (which is hard to come by from “self proclaimed” Italian restaurants). Food is always great, but the service has been awful the last two times we’ve visited. We’ve (as well as others) have us to wait a long time to get a server to take our drink order as well as take our food order.
The food was good,we had the meatball sub. The sample platter, which was good also. The atmosphere was good, and we were able to talk without shooting at each other to hear. The service was pretty bad,slow, and not at all ar times. It was hard to get drink refills. And took forever to get to pay the bill.
