Moon Dog Brick Oven - Abingdon, Va

Their Philly Cheesesteak was like grabbing a beef sandwhich in high school. They need some training with the owner at Mamma Mia. Couldn't get sandwhich at Mamma Mia due to their limited menu while doing renovation. So I figured I give Moon Dog a chance. Welp.... bad luck.

FYI....I never feel the absolute need to post a review, until now. I ordered two whole ham capp/ Italian sausage subs for pick up from Abingdon location. Price total was $30 plus. The take-out bag seemed a bit small, but didn't realize until I got home just what that bought me. I do have to say the young guy who waited on me was very polite and personable! The only positive part of my experience.

$17.46 for this medium pizza. A frozen Red Baron is better than what I just got from here. I will not be back and don’t recommend anyone else to try it.

Used to be the best pizza in TRI. Just picked one up. Zero pizza sauce. None. Just cheese pepperoni mushrooms and bread. And $24.

Good all around. Have tried the pizza, sandwiches and salads and all have been good. They have craft beers on tap which I have not sampled.

With the way u treat ur faithful employees I’m glad I’ll never eat there I seen how the boss just walked up to a employee at her car and after 7 years of working and actually doing her job and having to do other people work as well they told her she wasn’t needed anymore and ur employees don’t wash there hands they love their smoke breaks more than they love to work shitty management and worse employees

I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. It was hot and very crispy. The staff was friendly. I ordered the individual size pizza, which is the smallest and is cut into four small slices. $16 seemed a little high, but the food was fresh.
