Reviews for The Girl & The Raven

Went for brunch on a Saturday in December with a party of 5. After a short wait, they gave us a premium seat in front of a festively decorated mantle. The food was great, the atmosphere delightful and unique, and the staff friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend. Their outdoor seating looks fun too including a woodburning fire pit.Parking: There's quite a bit of parking at the restaurant, but it seems to be quite popular. I parked in the overflow parking full review
We finished the creeper trail and were looking for some hot coffee and a snack. When we walked in around 2:20, we were immediately informed that the kitchen was closing at 2:30. Not "welcome in" or "hello". So our visit started with a negative. However, our server was kind and took our order promptly so we could get food before the kitchen closed. The coffee was amazing. I had the pumpkin latte which I highly recommend. I also had a quinoa bowl which was delicious. Our full review
- then the food - and both are great! We arrived at 7:45 during coffee time - and ordered perfect Cappuccinos - as we awaited food time - to order our breakfast. We sipped and studied the menu. My wife had already decided on the Avocado Toast w/o an egg. I was ready for a full breakfast and went with the Ol Faithful - scrambled eggs, sausage, red cheesy grits and a buttermilk biscuit with fancy jam. The Toast was up to wife's standards - which is very high. My full breakfast full review
