Tokyo Japanese Steak House

The food was marginal at best it had basically no taste at all.

Portion size was very small.

The thing I was amazed with was a tip was added to my billing. I ask my waitress If she actually received the tip and they do not!

The tip is just added to the billing and the restaurant takes that as well. I asked her how she got tips and she told me that the only way was if someone left a tip on the table but she did not receive anything that the restaurant charged for each meal which is 15% on every ticket!

I was not familiar with the area and was told the food here was good which it was not, I would recommend anyone to make another selection then this location

I went to this place with my husband and 2 kids and we didn't have a lot of money but we want s to eat something better then fast food and they charge us a tip along with our order. I don't mind paying a tip but 15% tip is a lot of money when you didn't have that much. The menu they have online wasn't the correct menu so my husband and I thought that the menu online was the prices so we made sure we had enough and we didn't because of the tip. They need to do better and not tip. Some people can't tip. I'm big in tipping but when I don't have the money to do that I can't do that.

While the food we did get was good. I ordered 2 steak and chicken dinners to go and was only given chicken which was $5 more than just chicken. I also ordered one with noodles and recieved both rice, $2 extra. All together I was over charger around $25 for the mix up.

I called for yakisoba he don’t have. I asked for egg drop soup that’s Chinese I asked pork fried rice he only has white rice . Solution; hire a Mexican . A Mexican would heat up the flat grill with butter oil and fry up white rice add veggies and collect that paper . Why pass up on opportunity

Food is great but sitting here listening to the owner yell and every employee she has is not pleasant. Also a server wearing flip flops, a hoodie, and sweat pants is not professional at all!

Best hibachi restaurant in this area, always love coming here! Food is always great, and the server I get most of the time is so nice! So lucky to have a place like this in Abingdon!

While the food and service (from our server) were good, we choose to not go back because of the actions of the owner. She repeatedly yanked dishes and food from our server. We found this to be repulsive and very unprofessional and did not enjoy our time there due to her actions. I also do not like the fact that tips are added with out asking. This may be the way they choose to do business, but I feel that it is my choice as to whether they receive a tip or do not. Once again I will not go back here, but will seek an establishment with better manners!

Food is overpriced as is on the menu. You get your receipt and everything you order is at best 5 dollars more than menu price one or 2 dinners were atleast 10 dollars off menu price. We were 3 adults 1 toddler, gave My son a kids sized drink but charged for an adult drink. Everything on the receipt was not the price on the menu. Even then though we added it up and even with the misleading prices on the receipt it added up to around 65 so tell me how the total was 94 🤣 waitress was awesome but when you're adding up food to make sure you can cover the bill and still tip and 30 dollars gets added on to your already incorrect priced receipt. Food was okay at best definitely not even close to one of the best Japanese restraunts ive been to and every single one of those were extremely cheaper than this place with mediocre food at best. Won't be back.
