Amazing bagels & sandwiches! This is a local, family run business and they are wonderful people who truly make some of the best bagels around! Can’t go wrong with a bacon egg and cheese and the Rueben was a great lunch option. The photo doesn’t do it justice!

Bagel selection is great! We tried a couple of bagel sandwiches—the Breakfast Spud and The Reuben—and both tasted amazing. I also ended up buying a tub of cream cheese (scallion & chives and chocolate), which were both delicious. The egg salad was really good too. Definitely a spot worth coming back to! 🥯

I went to Bagel Uprising recently and while I was not blown away, it was a solid experience and one of the very few places I have found in the DC area that actually does a salt bagel, which I really appreciate. The bagel itself was decent and satisfying, even if it did not totally wow me. I also noticed they offer egg salad, which caught my attention since I love a good egg salad and will definitely be trying that next time. I have a pedicure spot nearby and I am always in the mood for a good bagel, so I can easily see myself coming back. Overall, it feels like a reliable neighborhood bagel place rather than a destination spot, but sometimes that is exactly what you want.

We stopped here the first morning of our trip and liked it so much we came back the next day! Great bagels, great breakfast sandwiches. We especially liked the everything bagel and the cinnamon bagel.
