Very nice Spanish place. Food was amazing. Very hard to find such great Spanish food in DC.
The croquettes were amazing.

Had a great date night at the pier & enjoyed a nice bottle of wine. I really appreciated the ambiance of place including the fans overhead. Service staff were very friendly. But I just couldn’t clearly converse or hear with the very loud music from the boats docking next to right next to the pier.

Tapas-style food with a full bar. Nice atmosphere during the Summer and heated area during the colder months. Good food overall with a few great dishes if you enjoy seafood.

Biggest issue with this place is the service. Lots of people working with below average service. One thing you never seem to see here is a dedicated manager coordinating effort and it shows in the lack of service.

If you're looking for top tier service, food, and cocktails you might want to check out Ada's on the River next door, albeit with lower quality views.

We have eaten here several times and on our most recent trip without the food had gotten even better. The location on the water with the breeze off the river is lovely. A favorite spot for us.

We booked a patio table for lunch. My food was amazing! I ordered the Skirt Steak, Gambas Al Ajillo (shrimp) and we split the Calamari. That was all very delicious!!! My husband ordered Pan Con Tomate and Patatas Bravas and he said that his dishes were ok. While being right on the water with wonderful views, I rated low on ambience because they really pack you in like sardines. We were at a table with customers on both sides and only about 3-in between our tables. If not for the lack of personal space I wouldn't hesitate to give 5-stars. Not sure that we'd go back for this reason only.

Barca is deeeeeeeeelicious 💖 Come hang out by the water, have a cocktail, order some tapas, laugh with your loved ones, etc. Barca is wonderful.

We ate at Barca Pier and it was amazing. We had nearly 1 of everything and Melissa took such good care of us. Dog friendly as well! Food came out fast, hot, and so delicious.

loved the food and that we were able to have dinner right along the water! the restaurant itself was very lively on a saturday night, great vibes all around.

we got the hummus, the lamb chops, the shrimp, and calamari. we had an order of fries that never came, but what we ordered and received so far actually filled us up, so we cancelled the fries completely. definitely will be back one day to try them out though!

the pita and hummus was the most flavorful take on Pita and Hummus i’ve ever tried- I’ll be thinking about that simple appetizer dish forever. it was so good!! we wished there were a little more pita served because they really give you a LOT of hummus (which I’m complaining about at all!).

the shrimp were definitely jumbo sized & delicious. lamb chops were also perfect in every way. the calamari was delicious and they give a whole plate full!

tapas usually is a hit or miss with me, as sometimes the dishes are just way too small for a hefty price. but this place really knocked it out of the park! we were both stuffed and loved the flavors we experienced. we can’t wait to be back to the more things!

Outstanding place loved it. Customer service was amazing they accommodated us to what we wanted. This place is the best. We are totally going back many times.

Quality has declined over the years. First went here in 2021 and the grilled octopus, the garlic shrimp, and drinks were amazing. Now drinks are not memorable and neither is the food. Disappointment and won't be returning.

Excellent customer service, breathtaking view of the Potomac River. Extensive variety on the menu. I highly recommend all items on the menu, and prompt turnaround time after placing an order.

We visited Alexandria for the first time. It was a hard decision to choice where to have luch. We decide for this place because it is in the river. The environment is beautiful. The restaurant service is very fast and nice people . The food had a unique quality. We had nothing like that for a while . The patatas bravas are delicious as well every dish we tried. i tried a local beer and it was excellent. For sure we have advice friends to go and we plan to come back soon.

Beautiful warm late Sunday out by the Alexandria Harbour where our annual anniversary weekend stay was winding down. Served by Glenn J who (owner take note) made a great place perfect. So warm we even had to move away from the heaters that keep the place warm as the cold comes in. Glenn had to deal with the remote dockside having lost connectivity to the shore restaurant so lots of running back and forth for each order. Still Glenn was pleasant and for the first breakfast in three the waiter
got the order right. AHI TUNA TAPAS were also tasty. Watching the jets land and sailboats cruise the harbor with folk out walking around made it a memorable scene. Gold star for Glenn J. GO! Karma? Alexandria even lit the tree while we were in town.
