Our experience was disappointing, especially when we remember how it used to be. We ordered an aperitif, which arrived maybe 5 minutes before our first course, so no time to relax and enjoy that before we were expected to begin our meal. The gazpacho was very good, but the main courses were accompanied by overcooked vegetables and potatoes that seemed to have been cooked a day before. Desserts were quite good. A favorite that never disappoints!! The duck confit and onion soup were the good highlights, as were the $20 bottles of wine! The outdoor patio was quiet and excellent place to hang for a Saturday night!
We had a very pleasant dining experience, the Bastille is quant and unpretentious restaurant. Every dish was superbly prepared, one of the best meals in a long time. The chicken liver mousse was incredible. Highly recommend this place. We will be returning soon.
