A friend told me about this spot....just had to check it out. The slices are quite big....be prepared. Pleased with everything and the staff were really cool and social. Kinda felt like I was in Portland.....ha ha

Definitely not NY style pizza. Have had better frozen pizza.

Benny Diforza’s is famous for their massive pizza slices—each one easily covers two plastic plates. The prices are very reasonable, and just one slice is more than enough to fill you up. In terms of taste, I’d rate the pizza about a 3.4/5. It’s not the best you’ll ever have, but considering the size, price, and convenient location, it’s a solid value. The spot is located in a busy area of Alexandria, so parking can be a challenge, but once you’re parked and have your pizza in hand, there’s plenty to explore nearby for a fun night out. The service has always been excellent, and the staff is super helpful, especially when it comes to recommending daily specials.

Loved the large slices.

After driving 2 hours to DC, this place was one of the highly reccomended places to go to. Me and my children were very excited to eat some of the pizza, but when we arrived a bit after 11am, the door was locked. The hours state they’re open at 11am but we waited for half an hour for them to open the door. The guy inside clearly saw us and continued to just clean and ignore us. Another customer came by as well but left after realizing they’re not open. We left at 11:30 disappointed and empty handed. As we drove off, it was still locked and the open sign wasn’t on so I’m sure there will be other customers with the same complaint.

We went to Benny’s for the Pi Day special - cheese slice for $3.14 - we got there around 6:45pm, obviously it was busy as expected. After ordering them waiting 40 minutes - people who arrived after us getting their food…they finally asked us what our order was…now the staff had spent quite a bit of time arguing about who had worked the longest that day, while pizza is sitting there waiting for customers…they finally gave us our slices after waiting almost 50 minutes….you would think they would realize that on a day they are running a special they would have more pizza prepped. We will not be going back

Absolute giant of a pizza by the slice. Great price and some very tasty cheese!

We’re regulars and love it. Ordered a big pie on Super Bowl Sunday and they were experiencing the worst case scenario for any restaurant; oven trouble on one of the busiest days!! The owner kept her cool under pressure and was able to troubleshoot and get things under control in no time. Was extremely apologetic and kicked in some freebies for our wait. In the end they made it work and we only had to wait an extra 15 minutes. Pizza was delish as usual. Excellent work under pressure from all staff and same friendly personable treatment as usual. We will keep coming back!

I bought a slice of pepperoni pizza to-go at Benny's , & their cashier gave me the slice in a PAPER bag (instead of using a BOX) , that's very unprofessional. The cheese got stuck to the paper bag, but the WORST part is that the grease (from their pizza) went through the paper bag, & left a GREASE STAIN on my jacket!!. (See photos below 👇). The pizza, itself, tasted good, but I'm never returning to such an unprofessionally run restaurant.

TL,DR: Amazing pizza, massive slices, great vibe, great prices, definitely worth going to.
This place is absolutely fantastic. I got a slice of cheese pizza, and when I tell you that this thing was massive, you can take that to the bank. Their slices are the size of two paper plates, and while you might think that it’s a gimmick, possibly to make up for an OK pizza, you’d be dead wrong. The pizza itself is amazing. The crust is foldable, it has a bit of crunch to it, but is also soft, and has a great texture. Taste wise, it’s also very solid, and doesn’t take away from the sauce or cheese, while also being a prominent flavor. For the sauce, it’s a pretty mild sauce, not super sweet or acidic, or too tomato-ey. As for the cheese, it melted great, tastes good, and was really solid. Very filling, and for only six bucks, you just can’t beat it. Now, as far as the atmosphere of the restaurant, it has an amazing vibe to it, and the staff running the place are awesome. I had a great conversation with the guy who made my pizza, And the decor of the restaurant as well as everything else just flowed right together. Nothing Felt out of place, or had any inclination of making me feel unwelcome. It feels like a place you can just walk in, and feel like you’ve been friends with everybody for years. This will definitely be one of my go to spots for lunch, And 100% my go to pizza spot When I’m near the area. Definitely worth stopping in and grabbing a bite, you won’t be disappointed.

This pizza was delicious. Both me and my girlfriend loved each slice we got. Which included pepperoni, Big Texas, and a veggie pizza. Anthony and Kevin were also such a big help, they greeted and treated us with great hospitality! Definitely recommend

Great place. My only critique is they cannot serve alcohol if their staff are underage. Their Sunday crew tend to be under 21, hence no drink.
