We've been to Bistro Sancerre many times over the past few years. Typically it has been a great experience to have a good French Style Restaurant so near home. However the past two occasions it has been lacking something. The previous time my duck was overcooked. This time my steak was cooked perfectly but was not properly trimmed and had gristle. The cocktail I had tasted watered down. I'm sure it wasn't but this was the first time my Manhattan was mediocre. It...
This was our first time at this restaurant. It was a quiet evening with only one server. While he was efficient, the service was a little slow but not enough to make a huge difference in our opinion of the venue. We will come back again.
