There is always a line out the door, so I finally decided to check this place out. The service was quick, and the chicken was hot and delicious. It was freshly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and reasonably priced. I ordered mine with hot sauce. Please note that they only accept cash. I highly recommend giving it a try!

The best fried chicken sandwich I've had since On Luck Carry-out, back in the day in DC😋

This might be my favorite restaurant in the DMV. Huge portions friendly sometimes funny service. I've been eating here for almost 20 years. You see all the neighborhood characters here. Charles has been working there almost as long. Glad to still see him there.

Solid soul food carryout joint. Charles is great and been working there for many years. Prices are somewhat reasonable.

More gloves worn less bare hand touching with everything.
The definition of a hole in the wall. This place is a MUST go-to if you like fried chicken and are in Alexandria

All things awesome
True charm is hard to come by and Blue and White has it. Unassuming but eye catching. If you want no fuss food that is prepared fresh to order at the most affordable prices in maybe all of NOVA, come here. The breakfast sandwiches are great, but lines form more often for lunch. Closed on the weekends and cash only. Worth checking out and friendly service.
Food good some days it's a hit or miss but overall amazing and taste great friendly atmosphere food be Soo hot 🔥
I absolutely love the breakfast sandwiches! It reminds me of the hot deli sandwiches up in NY! It’s so so yummy!

I had always wanted to try this place out as I drive by it all the time. It seems to only be open for lunch so luckily after a doctors appointment I stopped by. I got the chicken sandwich and the grits. Both were pretty good. I wouldn't the say the best I've every had but it was a good meal.
I haven’t been there in a while since I moved to Texas 35 years ago. I intend to go to Washington tomorrow so I will stop by. Karl was the second owner for many years. Bought the place in the 70’s. My dad was his best friend so we went there all the time. Alec his nephew I believe owns the place now. I will never forget all the pork chop sandwiches and nehi sodas I had there as a kid. Man I loved this little place and have dreamed of having one like it. RIP Karl.
You can’t go wrong long as you have cash or cashapp!
You have to arrive early because they make a certain quantity and it sells fast. I had a homemade meatloaf sandwich. Mmm, Mmm, good!
This is the kind of place where I want to try their collards, baked beans, and fried fish.
Is this the best food in the world? No but it's an institution making fresh food for affordable prices. Will I go back? Yes.
If you get the bacon egg and cheese make sure you tell them double egg. Heads up, Pork chop sandwich is bone-in. Plenty of pork chop.in the sandwich. I asked for mayo, LTO, s&p, and hot sauce.
