We were visiting from out of town. Saw this place and thought we would give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It's definitely worth a try.

Very slow service. Our food took forever- not for anyone needing to get somewhere. You can see the guys cooking as fast as possible, I just think they can’t serve as many people as they try to.

We ate here twice, dined in one and did take out. Dine in took an actual hour for the food. It was fresh and good but I also didn't get a refill until we finally got our food. It also took about 20 minutes just to be able to pay. There was a freaking line to pay. Now, when we do takeout trying to avoid the wait, they got my order wrong for my sides. Also, the sausage gravy on the country fried steak is oddly sweet. It's not going to be what you expect.

For the 6 of us that came here to eat, only one meal was appetizing which was the steak omelet. The rest of the food was god awful. The steaks were cooked well done when the requested was medium. The country fried steak was overly peppered and the white gravy was sweet. There wasnt anything besides breading. We asked for cheesy grits and got watery grits with slices of American cheese in it.I watched the cook staff use the bathroom and pick up trash after without washing their hands too.100% do not recommend ever visiting this place unless you want disappointment.

Service is horrible and young guy manager M doesn’t care. It’s the second time we’ve been here in 3 months and service has not improved. Manager just stares at you not getting waited in and just doesn’t care. Happened twice with him. They get $$ from tourists. So they have steady business and don’t care about repeat customers. Leave this to tourists if you care about being waited on.

Bob and Edith’s has really good food. I especially like the fish platter, chocolate chip hot cakes, and eggs with corned beef hash. It’s a great place to go at any time of the day, but especially breakfast. Very polite and professional servers. Food does take a little time, but it is worth the wait.
