Bollywood masala is a must-visit! We started with the vegetable pakora, perfectly crispy and bursting with flavor, followed by the light and fluffy vegan roti and shrimp kabob, which was tender and perfectly spiced! The yellow dal was rich and packed with flavor. To finish, we had the kheer - also heavenly. The service was superb, and Raj, the owner, was the most gracious host. We can’t wait to return for another incredible meal! Highly recommend!

Mild flavour, small portions and hit-or-miss service.
We didn't find the food authentically flavourful. Lahsooni gobi was tangy, paneer tikka masala was mild, and malpua was tougher to chew than it should be be.
Been dining for years all over dmv, their garlic chilli naan and extra hot bullet naan were distinctive and amazing, rasmalai was delicious too. Portions were smaller though than what we usually get at other restaurants. Had to wait like 20 minutes for a second order of naan, which almost killed our appetite.
Might do takeouts for the naan, but probably won't dine in. Dmv has better options for one's taste pallette.

This is one of the best Indian food restaurants I’ve been to. Every single thing I ordered was divine. Get the mixed pickle. It levels up the entire meal. My butter chicken was silky smooth and very flavorful and my passion lemonade is something I’ll dream about forever.

I had a great experience dining here! It’s the perfect place to enjoy an evening after strolling through Old Town Alexandria. The food, service, and vibes of the place were all great. My only complaint is that the chicken in the Butter Chicken was quite tough, but everything else was great—we enjoyed the Lamb Rogan Josh, naan, and veggie samosas.

The staff, especially Savio and Honey, make this place so special. The food, location , decor and attention to detail are spectacular. *On a side note, I wish the Lexington Park location that we live within 20min of compared even just a little bit to the Alexandria location; sadly it feels like a completely different entity, falling short in all areas; food, ambiance, masala chai, and sorely needs the dedicated Indian staff members to capture the authenticity and charm of Alexandria.

Quick and friendly service, staff is ALWAYS helpful. So far everything has been amazing , spice levels are what you ask for. Samosas are crispy and flavorful. Rice pudding is AMAZING. I could eat a gallon.
Im so glad they closed off this part of King Street, so now I can enjoy this amazing food outside if I want. They have heaters, so don't be scared of that!

If you are more than 5 people please be ready to pay 18% gratuities on top of the bill if we were informed in the beginning to avoid any confusion. Food was average. Snacks had strong pungent vinegar taste which they made again and still was almost the same taste. Naan and roti was fresh and very nice!! All curries were good.

The food was incredible. That's the most important thing to know about this place. If I had to be critical about anything, I would say that they could probably use a bartender that knew what he was doing. Otherwise, they absolutely nailed it. The drinks got made eventually either way. Came here with family and got some classic staples done in a way that was better and more interesting than most Indian restaurants I have dined at. Everything seemed very clean and well put together and the atmosphere was incredibly comfortable and reasonable. Didn't even think once about the chairs or the comfort level or the noise level. Exactly how it should be. The focus was on the food because nothing was in the way to distract from it.
