We were in Old Town Alexandria and had heard good things about Bollywood Masala so we decided to give it a try. There were 3 of us and we ordered 3 entrees and an appetizer. That was sufficient but I was tempted to order more. The kale pakoda was fresh and crunchy and the entrees were on the money as well. I love spicy food and asked for my entree to pack a punch (that it did), while still being able to taste the food. The paneer was soft and the dal Bukhara was excellent. Overall...
The pakora (veggie) was light, the batter was thin, and it wasn’t heavy with oil. The basmati was fluffy. The lamb karahi was thicker than I’m use to, but I liked that about it; it was heavy in a good way. And the mango lassi was the best I’ve had since my last trip to South Asia. 10/10
