Good service & food. Pitiful serving size. A $27 pasta entree is a kids meal size. Don’t go here unless you plan on spending $100 per person for a full meal size.

Brabo used to be a "go-to" for myself and staff in Alexandria. I brought a client/customer here recently and had to apologize to him afterwards for the abysmally bad service, middling food, and strange staff mannerisms. I'll seek another location in the future, Brabo is definitely off the list, I truly hope they raise the standards back to where they used to be at this location. I don't see myself taking another chance here in the future.

Stayed at the hotel so decided to give this restaurant a try. Not a whole lot people when I was there, was quickly seated and served. Ordered steak frites. Overall food is just ok. Be aware they charge $5 for the little bitty four slides of bread; also the steak's price is different that what's on the menu from the hotel.

My son and I ate at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice and inviting. So I wanted to try the food. My first dish was the French onion soup. I must admit, it was good. Then my son and I both ordered the Porkchops. I thought I smelled something a little spoiled, but then I said, OK maybe it's just me. I begin to cut the porkchop and eat. First, it was tuff and not moisten. Then my son's porkchop came, he took one smell, and cut a small piece of the tuff meat, and lo and behold, he too said, no. His porkchop had that same spoiled meat smell. So much so, that he sent it back for the roasted chicken instead. He did not continue to eat anymore. For me, I was so hungry, that I continued to eat some more of the very tuff meat. But because I still had some of my French onion soup, I would eat them together. There was also no seasonings on this meat...like salt. Just kinda bland. This is not a place I would ever sit down and eat in again. As I am writing this review, and since I left the restaurant, my stomach has been in pain. Normally when I sit down for dinner at a restaurant, I always do full courses to include dessert. Not here. Too afraid that dessert would have been subpar, at best.A real waste of over $100 dollars.

This was an amazing breakfast. I forgot to take pictures. We shared an all American breakfast and chicken and waffles. 1 bloody Mary and 1 screwdriver. Everything was excellent as you can see by the empty plate.

Had dinner here while traveling for business and staying at the Lorien. It was a cold night and decided to eat in which was a good choice. Had the grilled chicken and home made ginger drink. Would definitely return.

We went here for restaurant week. It was a 3 course dinner for $50 each. I had the heirloom tomato salad, spinach gnocchi, and the chocolate cake with ice cream. Everything was delicious!! And I appreciated how quick everything came out. The wait staff were also very attentive and friendly. Overall, a very nice dinner experience. I’ll need to come for brunch sometime!

I had been looking forward to coming here for a while and was very disappointed in the service and quality of the food for the price. We were seated at our table quickly, but then sat for 10 minutes before anyone even came to give us water. The service was slow the entire night, and even though the restaurant wasn't full, the staff seemed rushed and frantic all night, one waiter was even sprinting back and forth constantly. We chose the restaurant week menu - salads were fine but tiny portions. Our entrees were cold. On top of that, the steak was tough and bland. Fries tasted like the frozen, battered kind you get at a dive bar. Lamb was good, but cold and small portion, particularly for the $10 upcharge. The chocolate cake was the highlight.Overall, the service was slow and disjointed and food was only mediocre, so definitely won't be returning.

Very disappointed that the server refused to split our check per person. As someone who has been in the industry for many years, that is not something a server should refuse to do for their customers. They also very discretely automatically included gratuity for a party of 5. We were also unknowingly charged for bread and espresso on top of the cost of the $22 espresso martinis we ordered. Felt very nickel and dimed for food that was ok and service that was a bit slow. The gnocchi was more like fried mozzarella stick balls. Wine was good though.Adding more feedback after thinking more about this and still be extremely disappointed by what we experienced last night:The server started off by putting down items on the menu. She said the Caesar salad was nothing special and the steak was just a steak. That’s a terrible look for the restaurant, but a great way to make your patrons feel judged for their choices. When we asked about splitting the check per person, the server’s excuse was that it was too hard. In fact, because it’s restaurant week and we all had price fixed meals, it’s even easier to split checks per person. Meanwhile, we overhear the table next to us asking for an itemized receipt, which she accommodated no problem. That’s unacceptable.

People who are saying that the brunch here is a can't miss experience want to see you waste your money lol. I ordered the salmon bagel which was $17. They served the bagel with a single serving packaged Philadelphia's cream cheese. No hate to philadelphia cream cheese but for $17 (insane price btw) I was expecting something a little bit more upscale??? Not something that I could get at dunkin donuts for a fraction of the price. There was also still an onion peel on the pickled onions which again isn't a huge deal but was definitely giving continental breakfast vibes. There was a hair on the french fries too (see picture) - major red flag.

Cute place in Old Town with friendly staff and decent food. We got the Benedict which was good but had nothing exemplary to write about. I was shocked that the chicken and waffles came with 2 chicken fingers instead of a thigh or breast. The waffle was tasty but the chicken was a cheap add on and the Parmesan didn't add anything to the dish either. The Bloody Mary was different from what the board on the sidewalk described (no lime or olives but there was a smokey piece of bacon) and it was so very spicy. I like spicy bloodys but I don't recall the menu mentioning that it was and this one had so much hot sauce added that I couldn't finish it. We do recommend the side of pork sausage, it was the best thing we ate.

Loved. Went here on out mini-moon in 2022. We were staying down the street and wanted something a little upscale but easy to get to for the first night. They comped us a bottle of wine and desert. The meal was very good. I would come back and recommend it. one note - the bathroom is VERY far away form the dining room. Jsut a heads up.

Very nice hotel restaurant that has traditional breakfast/brunch options. The staff was very nice and the food was good. The restaurant seems to great a job with large parties as well and there were multiple dining there during our stay.
