The Tasting Room Reviews
I had a terrific time at dinner this week at The Tasting Room. I stopped in because the sign out front caught my attention something along the lines of "Our bartender is cheaper to talk to than your therapist." I was lucky to sit at the bar, and I in fact had a wonderful time talking with the bartender. I believe her name was Alexandria. She let me know that a few things were not available behind the bar due to a recent purchase of the hotel and restaurant, which did not really...read full review
My husband and I stopped in here to have a couple drinks and a light meal. The cocktails were fresh, innovative and tasty! We had a couple appetizers and they were very flavorful! We also really want to shine a spotlight on our amazing server, Tashika!! She was an absolute gem! She talked us through the menu, knew the ingredients and made us feel so welcomed as if she has known us for years. She was so easy to talk to and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience with her! Great food and service. The price is very reasonable given the quality of the food. I highly recommend! We just stopped in while walking.
Vegetarian options: My daughter is a vegetarian and loved the 2 items she ordered
Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the flatbread pizzas and they were able to alter the toppings for them.
The Tasting Room offers a limited menu and varying hospitality, with experiences ranging from an attentive bartender on Sundays to more costly visits on other days, as reported by one guest who paid $22 for a classic martini and $120 for a few appetizers and a glass of wine. It is also noted that the Happy Hour promotion may not be consistently available, as one visitor was informed that it had already ended on a Friday afternoon. Recent reviews highlight a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the staff, including the bartender Alexandria, make the experience special. Guests have enjoyed the delicious food, such as Brie crostini and mussels, and praised the outstanding service, especially from servers like Tashika, who made visitors feel at home. The spot is described as cute and comfy, with clean silverware and cutlery, and a place where the drinks are innovative and flavorful. Visitors should be aware that this beautiful tasting spot can be a little $$$, but the overall experience, especially the drinks like the smoked old-fashioned and the peach king, is highly appreciated. Despite occasional inconveniences like a fire alarm, guests enjoy their time, whether inside or outside, and look forward to returning.
