After 8 years away from the DMV I came for a visit & Cheesetique was on the top of my list. As delicious as I remember!! I just wish they would bring back the fondue.

This evening, my wife and I decided to try this lovely restaurant in DEL RAY and I have to say that we were very pleased.
The staff, as well as the manager were very attentive, the service was absolutely perfect as was the food that was served.
Restart it with their French onion soup, which was absolutely perfect and then my wife had a chicken pot pie and I had their burger, I have to say that everything that we ate was delicious. They have a special where you can carry out an uncooked meat lasagna for two to cook later or to freeze for a later time . The price of this carryout was $15.99! A great value, especially because it is a very large portion of food. We are so looking forward to eating that and to returning to this restaurant at a later time.

Paid $30 dollars which is no big deal for this horrible decaying lettuce with 4 half cooked shrimp. I wish I ate Capital grill and got a decent steak. My husband is a lawyer and we leave town alot a if they wanna defend this trash please don’t. Charcuterie, grapes were spoiled and cheese was old

Phenomenal! Amazing food and great portions and drinks were great. We ordered a grilled cheese and a gnocchi pasta. The service was helpful and attentive, a great way to enjoy dinner. They also have wine and cheese to sell, overall great experience!

Visited Cheestique with a group of friends and co-workers during the Del Ray Gallery Thursdays. The place is very charming. It has an area with a bar and a restsurant, nicely decorated with a variety of paintings and art. An adjacent area is a small but well supplied wine store. But the amazing feature of Cheestique is, of course, the cheese counter! It reminded me of a Parisian fromagerie (cheese store), with an amazing selection and variety of cheeses, both international, American, including local dairies. The restaurant area is cozy, and it may be a nice romantic date site. We all had a variety of appetizers. I had a cheese board that included both raw milk and regular cheeses, grapes, fresh baguette slices, seeded crackers, mustard, etc. The server was also warm, helpful and apptoschsble. Even Eric, the manager, came to speak yo is about our experience. I recommend Cheestique wholeheartedly

What a terrific meal. The Spring Menu was delicious, from mac and cheeses, grilled cheeses, pot pies, short rib, gazpacho, sides, starters, cheesecake- all delicious. Ate outside on the patio, so nice to have that option on beautiful days. Service was terrific, even got to say hi to Jill (the owner). Great place for lunch!

I could just eat 100 of the marinated chèvre, ORDER IT FOR THE TABLE! Pearscuttio is delicious as well. Mimosa (went for brunch) was good and not watered down. Am excited to try their wine!!

Holy decadence. Delicious food, fantastic euro wine options, classic decor, gorgeous bar top, chill vibe, delightful staff. Try the Fizzy Izzie.

For all the CHEESE Lovers~ I got to visit Cheesetique in Del Ray, Alexandria--and I had such a lovely dining experience!

This local gem is led by Jill Erber (also behind Corso Italian in Shirlington), these spots showcase her craft and passion for cheese & wine~

Here's what we got:

Cheese & Charcuterie Board
Summer Shrimp Bowl
Creamy Tomato Soup
Grown Up Grilled Cheese
Lobster Mac
Lemon Ricotta Pancakes
Wine Flight
Italian Soda

Favorite Picks: The Tomato Soup + Grilled Cheese = pure savory comfort, the rich gooey cheese on top of some tasty toasted bread, combined with the garlic-y and basil tomato soup was soooo good. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes were a GREAT option from the Brunch Menu too.

To the side of the restaurant they have their own cheese & wine shop, which is super cool. Bodega style so everything they serve in the restaurant for charcuterie/cheese you can pretty much buy at the store too. Definitely loved their pimiento cheese that came with the Cheese Board, and you can grab a tub in the shop as well to make your own board :)

I had the best experience at Cheestique last week! We went for dinner and got the charcuterie board, cocktails, mac n cheese, the cheeseburger, and the cheesecake and everything was delicious! Our waiter Nelson had great suggestions and the whole staff was so nice! You can also go next door and buy cheeses so I ended up getting one of the cheeses that was on the charcuterie board! I definitely recommend if you’re a cheese lover! It’s also got a great patio and indoor space to meet with friends

Izzy as well as the other waitress we had are angels. My wife is pregnant and was having a hard day. And she needed tomato soup. We walked in with her clearly looking distressed and down. Despite the kitchen being closed, they made a special exception and served us soup anyways. The soup was wonderful, but the staff offering her such tenderness and kindness after what was a very challenging evening for her brought her immeasurable comfort. God bless you all.
