Cooper Mills in Old Town Alexandria is a fantastic spot for authentic New York-style pizza. We tried both the standard and Sicilian styles, and both were excellent, the toppings were flavorful and well-blended, making for a really high-quality pizza.

This place is near the waterfront but not quite, and a little off of the tourist area, but we were unable to get into any other place on a nice weekend. The format is mostly pizza or pizza related. We got the spuckie, which is a sub, and a zepp, which was sort of a pizza crust folded over, The sub was not quite loaded like a normal sub but was tasty, and my wife enjoyed her zepp. Drinks were kind of funny-- I had ordered a draft beer, and got a can of what was nearly something...
