Del Ray Pizzeria is a neighborhood icon! Best pizza in the DMV area, friendly staff, and an excellent beer list. It really is just a one of a kind neighborhood spot: kids coloring menus with family events, outdoor dining with lots of dogs, inventive cocktails, constantly rotating beer menus, drag shows, bingo nights, live performances, lots of locals, and a sports always playing on one or all of the televisions. Went to DRP on Mt Vernon and the hostess stated they were having trivia night and most tables were reserved, but had a hi-top open in the bar area. As we approached the hi-top, another employee approached us and stated we couldn't sit at the table and directed us to the bar. I assume this was the manager because she seemed to be running the show.
