This is the place I’ve been looking for since I moved to the area. Everything is food as you could make at home, which is just what I wanted. I go here for breakfast regularly since the pricing is good and the food is filling. If you want to wow yourself, this probably isn’t what you are looking for. Lived next door for a year (Reserve at Eisenhower apartments). LOVE this place and sad to leave it behind. Breakfast and lunch at an amazing price. Great vegetarian options. Slices of the MOST delicious chocolate cake (other flavors too, and pie, but I've only tried the chocolate!).Great to pop in when I need some eggs or milk or a banana.Can't get enough of this lovely spot. The staff are so friendly and efficient and cook delicious food.

Been here a number of times when visiting a friend that lives in a nearby apartment complex. I live in CT so I only visit for a few days as a mini vacation but I always look forward to Deli For the Belly. I've never been disappointed with their food and I'm always grateful that it is one of the more affordable places to eat in Alexandria. Even the cakes are delicious and I don't regret buying a slice.
