First time at Duck Donuts (Alexandria) and I’m officially hooked. Made fresh to order and packed with rich flavor. Grabbed the Fan Favorite Dozen assortment and my kids crushed them. Easily some of the best donuts I’ve had, plus the staff was genuinely so kind.

Pros: the donuts are, in fact, made fresh and served warm. On the one hand, good, no one likes a stale donut. On the other, it means that the glaze has no chance to set up and makes a huge sticky mess.
Cons: they got my order wrong. Only slightly, so, whatever, I'll deal. But also, the prices online and the price in store are significantly different. And finally: these donuts are not good. I got an assortment, and the glazes just taste like sugar. There is no brightness...

Overpriced donuts once every couple years for alternatives to birthday cake. But these were super cakey. I like Krispy kreme better but it depends on flavor options, where dd beats the rest
