The young ladies were very charming and friendly and the service was top notch. I will definitely remember this place for the next time I am in the area and will be sure to get an appetizer rather than a dessert before my meal next time, because portions were generous. “Today I ordered doro wot, alecha beef, veggie combo, special kitfo and special tibs. It was delicious! I drove from MD to pick up my order and it was on time and on point. Everyone in the restaurant was very welcoming and nice. I felt I was back home. I don’t know if it was the owner but he was so nice and offered me to help me carry my order to my car. They have a life time customer. First impression matters and I was not disappointed from the food to the customer service. Thank you!!“

“Oh, man! This was the BEST Ethiopian food we’ve ever eaten, and we’ve eaten in a lot of places.

Everything we ordered was great. The special kitfo, the doro wot, the cabbage and carrot tikil gomen, the fish dulet, and the sambusa were all outstanding. The cardamom and clove tea was very good too.

We’ve eaten in Ethiopian restaurants with a Michelin Star — they were nowhere near this good. The prices were lower than nearby restaurants.

Do be careful of tiny bones from the chicken, like in the doro wot.“

“I revisited this place recently and was again very impressed with the service. The food was excellent, although there was a slight issue with one of the dishes. The manager quickly took action and replaced the food without any charge. It was such an excellent display of great service. Keep up the good work!“
