We enjoyed a delicious dinner here during restaurant week! All 3 courses were well plated, very tasty and just the right portion size!! The service was excellent and the cafe was not busy so it was very quiet, although it did get busier as we ate, but the noise level was still fairly quiet. I am looking forward to coming back again!
The space is very cool - maybe I'd call it upscale industrial retro? Very eclectic wall hangings and lighting, mostly fashioned from old erector sets. Love it! Went here for restaurant week and it didn't disappoint, except for the fact that they didn't have the carrot cake which was a bummer. Started with the corn bisque - so fresh, semi-sweet and velvety with the slightest touch of jalapeno spice. Pork loin entree perfectly seasoned and jus'd. Vanilla pudding...
Evening Star Happy Hour was fun and so different than the usual options. They served Tex-Mex and the bar was quaint and cozy. The House wine was good quality. The service was exceptional and responsive. It can become quite noisy since a small space.
