Good pub fare in a comfortable atmosphere. The pub burger was better than good, as were the fries that came with it. Live music in the bar was nice and not overpowering over in the dining room. They had a group in the party room, which also wasnt a problem. Reasonably priced too... overall a good experience.
The first time I ever went to Fiona's was on a St. Patrick's Day. Since then I usually order the corned beef and cabbage entree. I love the parsnip and carrot mash, something I never had eaten before. I decided to check out the rest of the menu today and was impressed by the variety. The chicken salad sandwich made with apples, scallions, raisins and almonds on a crusty baguette was delicious, as was the accompanying small side salad. Lunch is my main meal and the sandwich was a generous size and a really good deal at $10.
Decent food, nice looking place, friendly staff but I won't be back. Why? Drafts were $8 a pint.. during happy hour. Three beers came to $25.30 plus tip!
The chips (steak fries) were awesome. The Guiness and Onion soup was amazing. The Reuben was stellar. One of the best in No VA!
A very nice locally run restaurant. Good service and I really enjoyed the French onion soup. Nice collection of irish beers and alcoholic drinks. I have the liver and onions which I don't see in restaurants very often and but this was well done. I like the Irish style mashed potatoes very much. Great service and the managers brogue was cute. Would be a great place to spend Saint Patrick's Day.
Good atmosphere, great drinks and service. Food is a little blah. But great service and drinks make up for that. Building is new, so atmosphere will get better with age. I like an old, lived-in pub. They do have a fireplace which make it a little cozier in the winter. For a Friday after work, it's perfect.
Every time we have been here, the food drinks and service have been excellent. We celebrate birthdays here often and are always accommodated. Highly recommended. Get an Irish coffee and try a scotch egg!
I love this place. We have visited several times and always leave happy. I recommend the baked brie, Sheppard's pie, corned beef, and fish and chips. And they know how to pour a Guinness... Yes, there is a specific way! Good bar area as well.
Great night atmosphere. Similar to a pub back home. Friendly service and good service too. Half pub, half sit down restaurant. Live music, well when I was there anyway. And the food, have the Bangers and Mash, ohh so good.
Is an awesome bar and restaurant it has TVs for sports at the bar they have live music at times which I think is upstairs is two levels people behind the bar they also serve drinks and food. It was a really great place love the people that were there who served us. â¤ï¸ I would recommend this place it's down in the quaint place of Alexandria the old town and they have lights with the trees all the way down they have beautiful shops to shop at.

First time here delicious soup and excellent entrées friendly knowledgeable staff and a great Irish pub atmosphere
Fiona's is a wonderful Restaurant with a great bar area. It has some nice entertainment in the bar area at least once a week. The atmosphere is friendly.
Great food and great service keeps us coming back.
Fun, inviting small Irish pub in Kingstowne. Great bar staff and good food. Recommended!
Given the prices, I would've hoped for great food - even if not Irish. The burger was less than exceptional and charred on all edges even though I asked for "no pink". Was going to try to deep fried eggs, however, they said only 2 were provided. That much for 2 eggs?? Beer was good and others in the party said the Irish food was delicious. Might have to go back and try again...
