I’ve been to Foxfire a few times. Good food and good prices. The menu is simple and service is fine. This is a safe place for a good sandwich, but not exceptional in my experience.

There were customers outside with two standard poodles, one of which continued to bark loudly through the visit. It was quite annoying and made visiting with my friend difficult.Vegetarian options: Lots of options.

Loved Firefox Grill this evening. Our server Eddie was great and attentive. My Salmon was perfectly cooked. Coconut Shrimp were ok needed some seasoning- very small shrimp though... my sangria was great, although I was missing the chopped fruit I am accustomed to having in my sangria. The bartender was funny and brought great energy to the room. Loved the cute picnic style swing table. Played tic tac toe and enjoyed our visit❤️

We decided to try this place for a quick lunch in between running errands. Laidback atmosphere, friendly staff and a full bar. Wife ordered the tuna salad and I got the breakfast burrito. She really enjoyed the salad but the burrito left much to be desired for…. At $14 I was expecting a much bigger portion, especially when it only contained eggs cheese beans and chorizo…. Nothing fancy or no premium ingredients. The burrito was so bland and just so average. A breakfast burrito really isn’t that hard to execute well, if you can’t do it, maybe don’t offer it on the menu.

Dog friendly patio with an even friendlier staff. Everyone was very hospitable and loved our pup. Food and service was great. They made sure our pup had plenty of water. Will definitely be back!

This was a nice restaurant, good atmosphere, and I had a fantastic server. I made it just in time for Happy Hour. He ran over to my table and quickly asked if I wanted a drink or app on special since I had about a minute left. He was very nice, funny, and attentive.I had the calamari as an app. It was cooked well, and the dipping sauce was really good, but the calamari was bland. I added the fresh squeezed lemon to help, but the batter seemed to be only flour, I couldn't notice any seasonings.For my entrée, I ordered the sea scallops. Again, everything was cooked well. It just lacked flavor. I would have liked to have tasted some herbs on this dish with the roasted veggies and orzo, but other than the fresh cracked pepper added at the table, I didn't really taste much.For dessert, I had the flourless chocolate cake with raspberry drizzle. This was very rich and super chocolatey. I enjoyed dessert a lot.I still brought my leftovers home with me. The food is good, I just didn't have anything great. At no point did I have the desire to close my eyes and say "mmm" after taking a bite tonight. That is my description of a fantastic meal.The menu descriptions are mouth-watering, and I saw several other things in the menu that sound wonderful. I'll go back and try something different.

It feels bad to give this place only three stars. There were many things right about this place and there were many things wrong. From the outset, everything up past the appetizer course was 5 out of 5. The drinks were amazing and the seared ahi tuna was spot on. The Wasabi sauce from it was like nothing I've ever had before. It had all the great flavors of Wasabi without the annoying crumbly texture. And then, everything went sideways.The wait for the main course was long. Really long. The flavors and textures of the dishes were good but the seasoning was very heavy handed. Some bites were barely edible because there was just so much salt and it was a real shame because some of the bites were absolutely beautiful.The dishes themselves were very opinionated. They were a distinctive break from the Sysco food you'd come to expect from restaurants in this area. However, some of the combinations didn't really work and it seems as though the chef doubled down on many choices that would've been perfectly great in small doses.There was also a pretty interminable wait between the main course and ordering dessert and then an equally long wait to get the dessert. This, by the way, is no dig on the staff, who were professional, friendly and helpful. There just weren't enough people working there.While I would definitely return for drinks and appetizers with friends, I would not come back for a meal again.

I've lived in a lot of states and cities, and this place has the best Shrimp & Grits I've ever had. It's phenomenal. Also for lunch, Terri's Spiced Chicken and Avocado Wrap is perfection. Dog friendly and great seafood specials. I miss Virginia!
This restaurant had been featured on "Restaurant Impossible", and I was curious to see how it was doing. I stopped by for lunch on a recent Friday. The interior was inviting, clean, and visually interesting. One of the two owners, Terri, got me seated and we had a quick chat about the place. I had a salad with salmon, and the greens were fresh and the perfectly-cooked salmon was still hot from the grill. The portion was appropriate and the service was friendly. The place felt very comfy and welcoming to me, I'm looking forward to dropping by again when I am next in the neighborhood.Parking: There is free and plentiful parking in the lot that serves this shopping center.
