Made a reservation today and got a confirmation via Open Table. Showed up at my 730 reservation to find the restaurant closed. I walked into the hotel it's attached to and was told I was the 5th person to come in with a reservation with the restaurant closed. Hotel didn't know why it was closed. So...didn't get to try the restaurant and will be hard to convince to try it now...

I give it 3 stars for the food, but 4 stars for the friendly service. I had the Beef Bourgogne which was a bit too fatty, but I give the bartender props for being efficient while also being entertaining.
The food was amazing and the service was even better. Mike at the bar walked us through the menu and gave excellent recommendations. If you're looking for a good local spot this is your place, would highly recommend it.

This is a fantastic neighborhood spot! The service is impeccable and the food is really quite lovely. I met some girlfriends there and we truly enjoyed our time. We were able to catch up over a delicious meal. I'll definitely be back soon.

What a great time at French and Southern! All the dishes were amazing and entree portions are good enough to share ! The steak frites with mushrooms along with both the chicken and duck dishes were PHENOMENAL! The pork chop is one of their signatures! I would definitely order the southern soirée which is their sampler appetizer that has fried green tomatoes, deviled eggs. I would def order the duck or the chicken and that creme brûlée next time. SO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
