This is the best restaurant ever! Jay and Nan are extremely nice and welcoming and provide the best food you can imagine. If you're not here then you're wrong! Highly recommend the Gin Ramen but anything they serve is absolutely delicious.

This is my go to spot in Alexandria, especially for happy hour. The Gin Ramen is amazing and they have a great selection of Sake!

The food was overall very delicious. Since it was raining yesterday, my coworker and I decided to get a quick lunch from here. My only gripe is the price is a little steep for the serving size. My coworker got the short rib for 19, and it seemed like more of an appetizer. Also, gyoza was $10 for four
I got the red curry ramen, which was very delicious, so there were really no complaints there. I got the bulgogi to go with it, and it was very flavorful and tender.

This is a small restaurant and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our group of 6 (Thank you!).

Delicious ramen and Asian tapas! Our family ordered a variety of items with the Gin ramen and red curry ramen being our favorites. The latter reminded me a bit of tom yum. We also loved the pork buns and chicken satay along with the weekly special at the time which was unagi donburri. Everything was delicious.

If you have never tried ramen before and are in the area this is the place the try it at!

5 Stars! Flavors hit ever palette of the tongue. From their specialty cocktails to their delicious food full of authentic flavor. I felt like I was in another country. Very friendly staff and family owned makes it even better.

The food was delicious and definitely some of the best ramen that I've had over the years. If you like spice, however, you will need to ask for extra chili. Served as is, for me, the signature Gin Ramen was not close to my spice preference. Do not skip out on the fried tofu and the gyoza, amazing appetizers to start off the meal.

The only real downside was that I felt extremely rushed from the moment I sat down. Within 2 to 3 minutes I was already being asked if I was ready to order (this was before I even put a drink order in) by one server then asked the same a few minutes later by another. Then after the check came I was given, maybe, a minute before I was asked if I had paid. I understand this if there was a wait, but there were two open tables and bar seating available.

The food, the atmosphere, and the location will bring me back next time I'm in the area. Would definitely recommend you give Gin Ramen a visit.

Stopped in later on the evening on the weekend with my teen daughter and sister. Welcomed by a friendly hostess and a wall of green happy cats, we found the place cozy. There was a great drink menu, and other non-ramen options so there was a good variety available.
Also, a great bonus, this place sells broth to go on their sides menu! 👏

A Hidden Gem for Ramen Lovers! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I recently visited this amazing ramen shop, and I can't stop raving about it! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual meal.

I started with their frozen slushies: the Goldmine was a delightful surprise, and the Yuzu Lemon was refreshingly zesty—both were perfect for the warm day!

For my main, I opted for the *Shoyu Vegan Ramen with corn added, and it was absolutely delicious! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the corn added a nice sweetness.

My best friend had the Takoyaki —crispy on the outside and tender inside, with just the right amount of sauce. The Kani Bao Bun was another highlight; it was soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor.

Overall, this ramen shop exceeded my expectations! I can't wait to come back and try more of their fantastic menu. Highly recommend!

I’m thrilled to write this review, and with 214 previous reviews, it’s clear that many others share the same sentiment. My husband and I visited Gin Ramen for lunch, hoping to try something new, and we were in for a real treat. We sampled a bit of everything, and honestly, every single dish was a 5-star experience! From the bang bang shrimp to the bao buns and our individual ramen bowls, everything was fantastic.

We didn’t stop there—we also indulged in their cocktails and desserts. If there was a section on the menu, we tried something from it! I’m still thinking about the bang bang shrimp, the flavorful curry ramen, and the unique (but delicious) pumpkin cheesecake tempura. The chef really nailed it with that one!

The atmosphere, decorated for Halloween, added to the fun vibe, and the service was absolutely top-tier. All of our dishes came out promptly, with no long waits, and everything was prepared to perfection—nothing felt rushed.

I can’t wait to return to explore more of the menu, especially the desserts and cocktails. This is definitely a restaurant that will be around for the long haul!

Good food, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere.

Parking: There’s street meter parking within a 3-5 min walk from the place. I went on the weekend so not sure how parking is during the week.
