This place was absolutely amazing!! All the ingredients were top notch and the service was excellent. They take their time there and the ladies there were so kind and sweet! I wish this was a franchise in California! If you’re gonna pick a spot this is where it’s at. The food was so fresh with quality ingredients. Even the horchata was made perfect!

Good home cooking by and with Grandma's recipes. The Roast pork loin with BBQ was just right. Tender pork, light BBQ gravy and nice vegetables. A refreshing change from chain restaurant fayres. JC was particularly friendly, attentive and helpful, patiently explaining unfamiliar dishes/ingredients. The pumpkin pie was not too sweet with nice spices. Highly recommended.

The place is relatively small with limited seats and understandably limited servers. It takes a bit longer for your food but it’s acceptable. Food is very good. I got plato tipico: 2 eggs, avocado, fried beans, bread and plaintain. The plaintain is perfectly done. All in all, this is a nice little gem in the area if you are looking for quiet bfast/lunch diner.

The food is great! BUT the portion is very small, in my opinion, almost no homefries on the plate and only 1 toast cut in half(usually 2 toasts cut in halfs).
The service seemed like didn't want to be there at all. Not once was asked if i liked the food. Coffee came after been sitting for a while. Its a diner, coffee(any beverage should come as you sit down to look at the menu).

Great deal under $12 for my breakfast plate and +$2 per pupusa. Quick breakfast before heading into Mt. Vernon. Pupasas were great along with the hot sauces.

First time here - just as you’d expect for a strip mall Latin American ‘diner’. We enjoyed it very much for breakfast - cheesesteak omelette and chorizo burrito. We’ll be back if we are up this way.
It is in a strip mall just off of the Rt 1 access road.
