This is VERY late in coming, but many years ago I met a friend for coffee at the Grape and Bean. I arrived first and the waitress asked me what kind of coffee I liked. I didn't really know (I grew up on Folgers!). She asked me a few questions and said she would come back with a coffee I would love. And she did. It was a Panamanian coffee and it was the best coffee I've ever had before or since. I no longer live in VA and I still dream about that coffee.
Great selection of (good) wines, excellent customer service. Dustin is very friendly and attentive to his customers. Location is accessible. Nice little spot to get away from the big crowds and noise to have a gathering of close friends to hangout with. Definitely recommend it.
I can’t believe i only discovered this charming neighborhood cafe and wine bar a year ago. Although the outdoor seating doesn’t look very inviting, the interior has great ambiance and is perfect for any kind of intimate get together. I’ve been here with my husband for an impromptu date and with friends as well. The wines are great and the food is delicious! My favs so far are the Cremini soup, artichoke crostini and crostini with goat cheese and tapenade. So simple but so...
