If you’re visiting out of town this is the place to go! Fantastic food, chili, cornbread and drinks are to die for. On top of it all Layla is an amazing sever, she is so happy to help, greets everyone with a smile and goes above and beyond for her customers. Sweetest server I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommend stopping here
Very reasonable prices for being in the middle of a tourist area. The portions are huge! If one goes away hungry, they didn't eat there. Chili is their specialty and they serve it in many different varities and spice level
My wife and I have been going here since the late 1980s when we lived in the area and still visit when we're in the area (about once per year). The chili is great! I usually go with Texas (all the way wet) but Terlingua Red is incredible as well. The restaurant is quaint and kind of rustic and the somewhat dim lighting works to set the atmosphere. Highly recommended!
