Great Mexican fusion in their own right. Its hard to find some good Mex around here. Specially being a San Diego Cali native where street tacos alone are amazing! This place will meet your Mex cravings. Just dial down on the sugar with them mex drinks. I still give it 5 stars.
We’re grateful to have discovered Helena’s and it instantly became our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area (we had been waiting for a go-to spot for years)! My favorites are their Ceviche de Camarones (and wish they’d add more ceviches to the menu), Hongos, and Fish tacos (but I rotate through all of the taco options). We love this place and appreciate all their wonderful staff!

With all the reviews we were excited to go but the experience ended up being really underwhelming. We both got tacos, which were fine. I would try something different though, they weren’t really worth it.
