I realize how important reviews are for small businesses like this, especially for sushi which is so unique especially for knowing which places have fresh seafood. I came here several weeks ago with very moderate expectations. Everything was delicious. The sashimi platter was phenomenal as well as the specialty rolls. This place is definitely fresh and worth a try.

I'm always looking forward to trying a new sushi place. I came across Hinata Sushi and decided to give them a try. I went with the Black Brick speciality roll and the shrimp teriyaki bento box. The Black brick roll is a soft shell crab roll with shrimp served on top of rice with squid ink. The roll was okay. Would I get it again? Probably not, I thought there was something missing for a roll that expensive. The shrimp teriyaki box was on point. The shrimp were a normal size and well seasoned. My only complaint was that there were additional items that were served with the teriyaki box but there was no description on the website letting you know what they were. The box did come with a salad, miso soup and a small sea weed salad. There was another salad, I am just not sure what ingredients were in it. The restaurant was very empty for a Sunday evening. I would like to come back and check this place out for an in person dinner experience.

Having lived in Japan before, I’m very critical of Japanese restaurants. But this one was pretty good! Bulgogi was very good and the fish they used for my nigiri tasted fresh. I’d only recommend they use more rice in their sashimi - I don’t know if it was because we were the last order of the night, but there was almost no rice with my nigiri.

This place is delightful! We stumbled in late on a rainy evening and everything was excellent. Staff was very friendly and refilled our waters several times. The menu had some delightfully adventurous options. Atmosphere was cozy and creative.

I've been to Hinata twice now and both times I've had a wonderful experience! Both visits were during a time when only a few diners were in the restaurant (which was surprising) but service was on point both times. The fish is fresh and my food came out incredibly fast. On my last visit I ordered the Shrimp Shumai (boiled), Alaska Roll and Futomaki. This ended up being a much more significant amount of food than I expected and although the shrimp shumai wasn't as flavorful as I'm used to, everything was still very good! I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area and would like to grab something quick and fresh! Thank you, Hinata!

Great, fresh rolls with unique options - I have gotten sushi from here over a dozen times and have never been disappointed.Parking: Street parking is usually available right outside of the restaurant, but if not there is a massive parking garage underneath the restaurant / apartment complex - it might be paid one day but for 3+ years has been free.
