The food options were great and tasteful! There was a minor misunderstanding that the waitress didn't catch and the Manager had to get involved, but the resolution could have been better. But the food was was worth it to return some day.

Don’t skip this review. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5)
First time here.

The food is great — the avocado toast was amazing. My waiter was friendly, professional, and gave me honest feedback on certain menu items, which I really appreciated.

However, the service overall needs serious improvement, which seems to point to management issues. Ketchup is a basic table staple, just like salt and pepper. I had to ask multiple people for it and didn’t receive it until about 11 minutes later — by then, my eggs were cold. I also noticed other tables struggling with the same issue.

If you want to improve both customer experience and table turnover, consider placing ketchup on the tables. It’s a small change that would make a big difference in keeping service smooth and efficient. It would certainly get people in and out faster and keep the waiting line small! #dobetter

I tried HomeGrown for the first time today. As a vegetarian finding places that offer variety is challenging, so I was ecstatic to learn of a brunch with pumpkin bread and sweet potatoe brunch options.

Entering the spot, I was pleasantly wowwwed by the open, light and inviting decor. Just lovely, instead of the trend towards sterile and functional. My waitress Cas bounded up with infectious energy that made me smile. I MOST appreciated HomeGrown not up charging to one-for-one modify menu options to a vegetarian arrangement.

During a time of economic challenge this experience was affordable, uplifting and definitely worth a return visit.

Very impressive experience today. The place was very clean. The food was amazing. My husband had the byob breakfast with bacon, eggs, rosemary potatoes and English muffin with homemade jam. Cooked to perfection. The homemade pop tarts and coffee cake was some of the best I’ve ever had. The seasonal pumpkin spice latte was delicious. The server, Brody, was very attentive but not intrusive. The manager, Chelsie, stopped by to check on us and appeared to be on top of things. The director of operations happened to be there and also stopped by to check on us! We will definitely be returning.

Lovely spot to meet a friend for breakfast or lunch.
The staff is so warm and kind, and the food fresh and inviting.
The decor is likewise soothing. Completely embracing of all people and absent the pretentious vibe many restaurants in Old Town have. Wonderful find!

It's an aesthetically pleasing, modern restaurant, but that's where the good news ends.
I ordered a flat white, which you can get at Starbucks, so it's not a big secret menu kind of coffee. My server brought me a shot of espresso. When I let him know that I had ordered a flat white, he said, what's that? Off he went with my description. Midway through breakfast.I asked where my coffee was, and he said, ohh I'm sorry, you didn't get it? I gave in and had their very weak american coffee instead, since a flat white was clearly not going to happen.
Their signature Pop'd Hearts were overly sweet. I'd rather have a much better quality pastry than cute sprinkles on top. The biscuits and sausage gravy were just okay. There was minimal sausage in the gravy and the biscuits were too soft to maintain any texture in heavily thickened gravy.
I most definitely would not return.

What an incredible breakfast! The servers are friendly and funny. The food is incredible (definitely the best eggs Florentino I've had, from the hollandaise to the English muffin), and the pastries are home-made! I'm brining my family here when they visit next.

The place was amazing! While the decor, the ambiance and nice outdoor space were great, the food is why you should go!

I had the avocado toast and my husband had the baked oatmeal. Loved that they try to source as much locally as possible.

Coffee and food were fresh and hot!

However, if you order nothing else, GET. THE. COFFEECAKE! Thank me later.

Ask for Cas. She was a great server!!
