I went to Hummingbird with friends for dinner and we had a wonderful time. Lovely selection of creative cocktails from the bar, great atmosphere, excellent service, and incredible food!
Excellent experience! Recently came to Hummingbird for brunch and was very impressed with the friendly service, delicious eats, creative cocktails, and view. Meshelle Armstrong has created a welcoming atmosphere with carefully curated decor. The staff was very knowledgeable of the food and brunch cocktails. The Hummingbird is a lovely restaurant. Ivan was very attentive and our food was excellent. A must do if you are in Old Town Alexandria.

While the food menu is a bit limited and eclectic, they have steak frites and a fabulous chicken Milanese. The drinks are excellent, and the restaurant is a great spot for drinks on the patio with a view. Hummingbird has also received glowing reviews for its ability to accommodate large parties, with staff being communicative and accommodating. The service, drinks, and food get better each time.
