Excellent Monday dinner special with amazing waterfront view!

Food was extremely forgettable. Service was ok. Views were great, but a mouse kept scampering every which way in the outdoor seating area.

There are so few restaurants in Old Town that are quiet, atmospheric, reasonably priced, with excellent service and great foods Hummingbird is one of them. I am almost afraid to tell folks about it. They even have a $50 three course special. Leans towards seafood but who doesn’t line seafood? They also have steak frites and a fabulous chicken Milanese. Enjoy!

whole fish was over-charred and bass was dry. lettuce bed was wilted; the dish did not include sides. Whole fish was Ala carte...had to pay for bread. Do not recommend.

Great spot for drinks on the patio with a view. They have an excellent drink list as well. The food menu is a bit limited and eclectic. Ive been here a few times since they opened several years ago and each time the service, drinks, and food gets better. Bravo!

I recently hosted an event at Hummingbird and had an outstanding experience!  I connected with the Manager, Kenneth, who was extremely helpful.  Kenneth made our reservation and even created custom menus for our group of 11!  He ensured that the room was beautifully decorated and ready for us!  We are grateful for his assistance in making this an event to remember!  In addition to our experience with Kenneth, the food was outstanding and our entire group was very impressed!  Our waiter, Elizio (sp) was also fantastic and very attentive!  We truly appreciate the remarkable service, ambience, and cuisine at Hummingbird!  10/10!

Had a visible mice and rodent problem that the staff were aware of, and tried to blame on nearby construction and not their lack of cleanliness. Will not be back.

It’s at the back of the Indigo hotel, harder to find from the street, easier from the waterside. It’s a nice spot next to the river with large windows for great views. They also have outside dining that is just as nice, if not better. I started at the bar with some drinks, then went outside and enjoyed the weather with some appetizers. Everything was great, the bar staff were exceptional, food was delicious and the staff were attentive. It’s a great place to get some drinks and a meal, of a great spot to start out before you head out in Old Town.

I really was excited to try this new place last weekend because it was by the water and the weather was really nice. However, the experience was not up to par… The food was mediocre at best and they accidentally gave me home fries instead of fruit on the side of my eggs benedict, the home fries was drenched in peanut oil as well because that’s all you could taste. When I called to let the manager know that there was a bug in my water (we ate outside), she acted careless with a nonchalant response saying “oh we try to cover it with a net but sometimes they wake back up” what????. Also her attitude over the phone when I asked for a new copy of my receipt was unprofessional, as she was laughing at my request to ask for a new copy instead of being professional. You need to be checked when you are interacting with customers because it comes off disrespectful when you sound distracted over the phone. I do not think the food is worth the price they are charging but hey 🤷🏽‍♀️

My wife and I love the Hummingbird Bar & Kitchen! We had our wedding reception there in March 2023. The food is amazing, especially the brunch, and the service is impeccable!

Not a local - but I confidently assume the Hummingbird is the locals special secret place. Avoid the dining masses just around the corner and get a top-shelf experience + holy cow, every seat has a beautiful view!

Bravo for the most upbeat, professional and gorgeous full on restaurant in town. We tried others and this was far the best sit down dinner. The lighting, decor and energy from the staff is positive and caring.The food is excellent and menu has everything for both serious diners as well as casual meal. If I lived in Old Town that bar would be my second home because it's just beautiful and the bartenders and waiters are truly genuine. It's clear the GM and management are excellent at what they do because the place is professional and real, everything just flows with great service and it has style. Also a perfect spot for any special event and since in the hotel Indigo a lovely and convenient stay right there.
