I’ve ordered three times here since Nov 2025, and the halal indication is what made me curious to try the place. I’m happy Hunan Cafe is in the neighborhood! The food is good and clean, meat portions generous, the white rice that comes as a side was fragrant and tasty. I’m not left second guessing my order unlike other Chinese take out spots that can be too oily or use too much MSG. The service is reliable and friendly.

More details: I’ve placed over the phone with no issue and have ordered using the kiosk. They securely pack the takeout. I’ve earned a reward through Toast, the ordering app. There’s plenty of space to eat-in, if you’d like. I haven’t had an issue with parking, it’s a strip / plaza lot shared with other businesses. Dishes I’ve tried: spicy chicken wonton, lo mein, Taiwan noodle with veggie, Szechuan beef, and La Zhi chicken.

Hunan cafe is the best Chinese food restaurant. Menu options are incredible. I personally have tried about 6 different dinners plates and each one of them are so delicious that I have a hard time deciding which dinner to choose to eat. The food so addictive that I almost eat here every day. Yum Yum Yum

Ordered for pickup, came and asked if it was ready, front desk lady said she’d call my name. My order was just sitting there, she’s just on her phone. Waited 20 minutes then I asked her again, just gave the one off the shelf, when I asked her the first time if that was mine. Waited for no reason, she didn’t say anything of it. Sucks because this is my go-to Chinese spot, and the owner is friendly.

I've visited Hunan Cafe twice, and both experiences have been outstanding. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is friendly and attentive.

One surprise favorite was their vegetarian cauliflower dish—it was packed with flavor and tasted amazing. Even as someone who doesn't always order vegetarian dishes, I would definitely get it again. It's clear that care goes into the preparation of every dish.

I've enjoyed everything I've tried so far and am looking forward to coming back to explore more of the menu. If you're looking for great food, excellent service, and plenty of tasty options, I highly recommend Hunan Cafe.

Food is delicious and was made fast. The crab Rangoon was the best I have ever had. The lady at the front was also super friendly. Definitely recommend.
