Indaroma is our go to spot for Indian food and is a gem of the West End. We have tried numerous offerings on their menu, and nothing has been disappointing. Our children love the Butter Chicken, and Nilgiri Chicken is an adult favorite. ALWAYS get the garlic naan and samosas! We appreciate that their menu reflects different regional Indian offerings. You will not be disappointed, order!

Great find- this little restaurant has really good food with authentic flavors. I’ve tried so many Indian restaurants in the area, Indaroma is by far the best. Their Kathi rolls and chicken lababhdar are so delicious!! Their chaat is pretty decent too! One of my favorite restaurants.

Food was delicious : Lamb biryani and bhindi dish. Service was great. Sometimes I have gone when it is almost empty but this time was warm and lively but not too crowded. Love the casual but clean atmosphere with partial self service. Good vibes. Good food with formaily and fuss. Solid.

MOLDY FOOD !!! DO NOT GO HERE . There was literally mold on the food that we bought. When we told the owner of the establishment his first reaction was to insist that the cake was made that morning (it very obviously was not). We were then asked by a cashier if we still wanted the cake or if we wanted a refund. Obviously we said we wanted a refund. They only refunded us that item. The owner did not even apologize. Absolutely disgusting and truly terrible service.

You know it's good Indian food when the restaurant is filled with Indians. Super tasty dishes from different regions of India. Never disappointed each time I come back. I live in PA now but when I am in VA I stop by.

I was trying to order a karahi, I requested to replace the portion of rice by bread , he refused, just to make a separate order , I was able to order however I didn’t like how he treated his costumers, worse service

I had an amazing dining experience at indoaroma. The Chicken Tikka Masala was outstanding, with tender chicken and a rich, flavorful sauce. The Chicken Biryani and Garlic Naan were also exceptional, perfectly seasoned and delicious. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine!

IndAroma has become our go-to spot for Indian cuisine in Alexandria. The food is consistently on point, with the Butter Chicken Curry and Naan being our absolute favorites. The flavors are rich and authentic, making every bite worth it. While the prices might be a bit on the higher side, the taste and quality of the food more than justify the cost. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Indian food!

One of the best garlic naans I have ever had, so soft and flavorful. Generally the naans gets chewy and hard if you reheat but IndAroma naans are super soft have it to believe it ?. Most of the India. Restaurants serve Butter chicken in a sweeter sauce but few have different spice levels and this place absolutely nailed the medium one which my lil ones enjoyed. The vegan me ordered Malai kofta can’t go wrong with it and I chose the spicy level which was not super spicy for me and loved the flavor. Even though I belong from the coastal belt this is the first time my family tried the Shrimp Malabar curry offcourse in my picture you must be wondering where the shrimp is but watching the whole family licking fingers I’m sure it was yum just wished we would have ordered a Malabar paratha and the combination would have been killer. Kudos to the chef of IndAroma - can’t wait to try the biryani and other items on the menu ?

I am quite disappointed with the decline in the quality of their food recently. It used to be exceptional, but the current offerings fall short, particularly the goat biryani. It no longer tastes like biryani; instead, it seems as though they've simply mixed goat curry with rice. Previously they served superb goat biryani. I hope this review reaches them, and they take the necessary steps to restore the authenticity of their biryani.

Food was very good. They forgot items which sucked because it was needed. I’m never called them because it was far away from our place, but major orders were forgotten. Got it from Uber eats but check if you can
