This is not just a hotel restaurant. It's one of the better kitchens in Alexandria. The menu is limited, but all the items are prepared with southern flair. Blackened strip loin was excellent. Always a good original salad. And you MUST order the biscuits. Good service.
Our server, Redwan, was amazing! It was our aniversary and he treated us well. I'm a southerner and I have to say, the shrimp and grits are some of the best I've ever had. Thank you for a superb experience.
The service was good and most of the attendees enjoyed their food. I found the shrimp and grits to be nearly inedible. I think the bisque-like sauce would be better drizzled. It drowned everything on the plate.
