If you want a real pizza that is like NYC pizza. This is definitely the spot. If im nearby im definitely stopping no hesitation the garlic knots are fire. The square pizza is fire. We need Dave to come rate this place for real.

Absolutely love this location for a plain cheese slice. I was born and raised in Queens New York and find it very difficult to find a good plain cheese slice in the DMV area. This spot is legit! They're marinara sauce is very good also. The rest of the specialty slices are not traditional American Italian pizza that you would find in New York City but their plain cheese slice is the best in the dmv. My wife and I have lived in the area for over 8 years and this is the best pizza in the Springfield area.

Since the pandemic it seems like you can't find a good place for by-the-slice pizza but after finding Johnny's I'm glad to say I'm wrong.
