There is more to life than donuts, but until that "more" reveals itself, Just Fine Donuts is more than just fine. They have an assortment of flavors comparable to that of Donut Run, but I'm a bigger fan of Just Fine's selection, which is a little less frilly imho. I've had the mango tajin, chocolate coconut, ube, maple bacon, and boston cream here, ranked in order of goodness. I got the first three today, and they had about 50% of the frosting on the average modern-day donut, which is still 200% more frosting than I'm a fan of on a good yeast donut -- all that to say that they are close to the ideal and have at least mastered the fundamentals here.
Alright has anyone been tracking the uptick in donut frosting?? I have scraped off gobs of icing from donuts across the country in recent years. Are the donuts changing or am I?
The mango tajin did have a not-too-sweet jelly filling that was perfect and frosting that could have done with a little more tajin. I was as disappointed as I could be while still being very content with the ube donut -- the frosting lacked any distinct ube flavor but there was not so much of it resulting in an overall positive experience. The chocolate coconut was 2 die 4.
Vegetarian options: all. even better--they happen to be vegan.

Just Fine Donuts has incredible donuts, and they're all vegan! I love their donuts but can no longer eat them because they don't have any baked ones. Just Fine Donuts, if you're reading this I beg you to make a baked donut so I can come back and enjoy your delicious donuts again.

I really enjoy these donuts, but this is my 2nd time in a row having a long brown hair baked in my apple fritter. I don't know your normal requirements for the bakers, but hair nets need to be worn as this is unsanitary.

A local vegan donut store with cake and yeast donuts and specialty donuts, like my boys' favorite Boston cream and raspberry jelly filled donuts. The staff are extremely fast and helpful and get through the line quickly. There is limited seating inside and out and occasionally a lot of flies during the summer months. Prices are reasonable for the area and the quality is high. Sometimes they run out of donuts so go early.
These donuts are world class. I ordered the Boston cream donut for months and had no idea they vegan! It's the best Boston cream donut I've had in recent memory and somehow it's vegan. I don't know what they do in that kitchen, but they make incredible fluffy delicious yeast donuts. I highly recommend.

A bit more accesible than Donut Run, and some really solid donuts that are just as big as the ones at Donut Run. Expensive but worth it if you are trying to stay plant based.

this cute local store in del ray has one of the best vegan donuts that I’ve had! they had yeast and cake donuts (strawberry was my favorite!) but you really can’t tell that they’re vegan. it’s going to be my to go donut shop.
