Update from 5 stars to now 1 stars. Went in there today and I didn't get full scoops of ice cream. And the fudge crumbled in pieces when I went to eat it. I won't be back.

We absolutely loved this place! The best tasting waffle cones I’ve ever had with yummy homemade ice creams. Chocolates galore and creamy fudges. Plenty of chocolates for Easter treats! This is one of my favorite places to visit when I'm in Old Town, Alexandria. The ice cream is smooth and the chocolate pieces are great! I like to see them making the products on the spot. Great store to shop for your chocolate and ice cream favorites.

Had chocolate ice cream with waffle cone at Kilwins. It had deep rich chocolate flavor and the waffle cone was warm. Even with the quality it was quite pricey. There is one gelato place nearby with better flavor and reasonable price but it closes early unfortunately. Anyway, I recommend Kilwins for chocolates and to visit in evening since it opens till late.

Toasted coconut ice cream is to die for!!! My most favorite ice cream and I have not seen this excat combination of flavors or similar ice cream anywhere!!!
Kilwins for THE WIN! This place was definitely an impromptu visit. We were initially supposed to go to Dolci Gelati, but some things we saw kind of deterred us from our plans. However, those things gratefully led us right to Kilwins. Kilwins has alllllll the ice cream options with soooo many unique flavors. To name a few, chocolate peanut butter, pumpkin pie (seasonal), and apple pie (seasonal), plus more! They also have a ton of other sweet treats, such as chocolate covered apples, different fudge treats, chocolate covered rice krispies plus more. The staff was also very welcoming... On each visit. Lol we came back for seconds (to go) that night. I ended up committing to pumpkin pie and some other ice cream that was clearly forgotten due to my infatuation with the oh so divine pumkin pie ice cream. (I think I found my new favorite ice cream flavor that is unfortunately a seasonal optional.) I was such a fan that I advertised to my friends lol and then came back for a quart portion of the pumpkin pie ice cream to go. I most definitely will be back ;)

One of the many cute little shops in old town Alexandria. Long line but moves fairly fast. The hardest decision you will have to make is choosing what to eat first. So good! Don’t plan on visiting while on a budget, but is anything budget friendly these days?

Meh. Super overpriced. $9 for a single scoop on a waffle cone is robbery. Not to mention the cones were stale. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Dropped in to grab some goodies. You will not regret it from dipped apples, fudge, caramel chews and ice cream. Everyone was super nice and helpful.The divinity ball and Oreo dipped in caramel coated toasted coconut was delicious sad that I only bought one but thankful as well cuz I could eat about a dozen. ?
