King Pollo of Alexandria

So disappointing!
Returning from a 14- hour flight ordered delivery from King Pollo because it is right down the street. When checking on delivery grubhub app says order being picked up now. When no delivery made on time checked again and someone else was picking up the order now. When still no delivery checked with Grubhub Help via chat who reported the delivery being prepared now, an hour after the original order was placed! Then King Pollo canceled the order because they reportedly were out of an item. They have done this to me two times before!
Hungry, want your order soon? Maybe my experiences with them could be yours, too. Grubhub offered $7 coupon for next order because of delivery delay (what delivery?).

I drove to KFC and had my dinner in 20 minutes.

Grubhub may want to ensure they only service reliable restaurants.

Sat in traffic for over an hour just to get here and tell me they have no chicken and it’ll be 30 mins. So annoyed

The price of the food is much higher than normal. I compared the price with other restaurants. Plus an Arizona drink that costs 99 cents. They sell it for 2.50, it's a blatant theft.

I hadn’t ate here in a couple of years. I was heading to Alexandria on 7/25 and decided to stop in and get lunch. I was so excited only to be let down. From the time we entered and go to the service line the person behind the counter had her nose in her phone and didn’t look up for at least 4-5 mins and when she did she was startled and had a nasty attitude. Then she served my friend and I and was not friendly, but again I think it was because she had been startled over looking up and is standing there watching her. All the tables were absolutely filthy and there was no one in the establishment what so ever besides the employees and the 2 of us walking in. The trash was running o er in to the floor and everyone that walked in behind us was talking about it. An employee made her way out from the back where she grabbed the dirty bowls and empty trays but left the trash falling into the floor. The trash remained there from the start of us walking in and was still there after we walked out. No one was doing anything besides looking at their phones. The walls were spattered in food and the restaurant was very filthy. This was my final trip and I will never return again!!! Disgusting to say the least.

Good service. I stopped by with my daughter as we had to use restroom and ordered small order but the staff was very friendly

Was last here on 7/14/24, will not be returning, and will encourage others not to. For years, we ate here and recommended the place. Today, the staff were a mix between kind and dismissive in English, but were rude, vulgar, swearing, etc in Spanish. Apparently under the impression I don't understand Spanish. Disappointed, bye KP. I wouldn't treat anyone this way; good to know how your staff really feels about people.

Amazing chicken, yucca, and plantains. Service was fast and excellent. The experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

BEWARE: I've never felt so sick in my life. I got down to the last piece of food and saw the biggest fly boiled down in my food. I will never eat there ever again and a fly that size boiled into the pot shows me he been eating in the restaurant for a long time.

Divine food, spectacular staff. Truly a gem within the greater Alexandria area. They are a Peruvian chicken spot with spaghetti, do you know how rare that is??! Plus they have papusas ???

What a terrible service those women give in this place, as they will not be paid for their work and the food is increasingly lousy, the chicken in the soup is raw, and they do nothing to amend the horrors they sell.
