La Madeleine is a great place for good, nutritious, healthy salads and good sandwiches. I especially enjoyed the onion soup. My favorite is the good coffee. They have wi-fi because the folks come there for free wi-fi. Excellent clean food.

First time ever at this restaurant, I had always wanted to go when this restaurant was in Silver Spring, Maryland, back in the day, but I just happen to be up here in Alexandria, Virginia so I thought I would give it a try. Ordered the American breakfast, which was a Croissant , Scrambled eggs, with bacon I got a cold croissant, scrambled eggs with shredded cheese on top to be honest I was expecting the cheese to be cooked within the eggs, so it was melted .
