Tacos were good! $25 (takeaway, no drinks) per person for a family of five is WAY TOO MUCH for what we received. The quality for the rest of the food was alright. Glad we tried it, but stars are inflated for this place.

Tres leches was really bad, just yellow cake with watered down milk and a soggy pie e of cookie on top.

I used to live here 8 years ago and this was our favorite restaurant so while we were in town, I had to stop by and see if it was still here and the same. It was even better than I remember. I haven't had carnitas that good for a long time-eyes rolling back good. The barbacoa was fantastic too and I still love the carne asada. I will continue to come here anytime I can
We came in 20-25 minutes before they closed so place was quiet and only take out orders were coming out. Everything we ordered was great, truly authentic Mexican food and flavors. My husband had the Menudo he said it was fantastic and that says plenty because he is so picky when it comes to how the menudo is cleaned and prepared. Portions were a good size we had so much leftovers. The woman waiting on us was very friendly and welcoming. We’re visiting from out of state but if and when we come back to Alexandria this will definitely be our go to place!

Called to order a cake. The man that answered was the least helpful. I asked how early I can pick up the cake and he tells me to tell him. I tell him I’m trying to figure out how early and he tells me 10:30pm before hanging up on me. Terrible customer service. How is someone supposed to order a cake without any information?
Best burritos and birria in the area.

I went specifically for the bakery, and not a single one of the six pastries I ordered was fresh. Even the cream in the cream cone was hard. Definitely not worth it.
Best authentic Mexican food in this entire area. Tortas, Tamales, everything. Hands down the best. I say this as a native Texan who’s been looking for years for an authentic torta in this area. I’ve finally found it. This family owned place knows their food! Go!

I had the tacos and tamales. The tamales were delicious. The masa was seasoned extremely well. You don't even need to put any salsa on it. It had a good meat/masa ratio. It also wasn't over cooked. Alot of times if restaurants overcook the tamales they fall apart when opening them. The tacos were also very well-seasoned and their salsas were great. They have a Verde and Rojas salsa that is made in house.
